This is life right now. I am completely bedridden. It's horrible. My body is so weak I can hardly sit up. I am going to the doctor today so I hope she can give me some advice or help.

So glad I have Ronald and these pups. The pups are the best nappers and snugglers ever.

I'm also so thankful for my mother-in-law who is going to take me to the doctor today, and therapy tomorrow. She is also going to help me get groceries (we are out of coffee which is the hugest emergency ever). And she is going to stop in to water all the plants. She is the best.

Anyway, I should get ready for my appointment now. I need more time as everything takes me so much longer to do. I feel kind of like a zombie.

Wish me luck.

Love, C

  2. I just happened across your blog today... I hope your doctor was able to help you today. I have fibromyalgia, systemic lupus and RA so I completely understand the frustration of the pain and being bedbound for days at a time. I had to smile at your photos, I have the same things by my side with the exception of the dogs. I have a very jealous cat that rests with me! There are 2 other things that I use that I wanted to share with you.
I have found that meditation and listening to relaxation music and sounds can help me rest and sleep... My favorite app is Naturespace... To listen while sleeping I found "Sleep Phones" on Amazon. They are soft and comfy and do not move around or poke like regular earbuds.
The other thing is a product called "Two Old Goats"... I know, crazy name! Its an ointment that I came across about 3 years ago and now am never without it. It was developed by a woman with fibromyalgia. By no means does it take away all the pain but it does help me tremendously so you might try it out!
I hope this comment finds you feeling better. Sorry for being a bit long winded! I look forward to reading your future post!

  3. Hi Liz!

You are so sweet to comment and I will definitely check out the relaxation app and the ointment.

I'm sorry you struggle with fibromyalgia too, and have the other health issues. I can't imagine. It is so hard to deal with them and find them help we need, sometimes.

I'm glad you found my blog and I hope to get to know you better!

    xx, C
